Ike Richman
Founder
Ike is a well-respected and experienced media, communications and PR executive.
As Vice President, Public Relations, Comcast Spectacor, Richman specializes in publicizing live local, regional, national and international sports, concerts and entertainment events, including the World Cup of Hockey, the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals and Entry Draft, two NHL Winter Classics, the U.S. Figure Skating and Gymnastics Championships (Olympic Trials), the American Hockey League All-Star Game, the Super Bowl, the 2000 Republican and 2016 Democratic National Conventions, NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Wrestling and Frozen Four, the NBA Finals and All-Star Weekend, and the ESPN X Games.
Richman has also successfully publicized 12 groundbreaking ceremonies and 15 ribbon-cutting events for arenas and stadiums, arena name changes, and the Spectacor merger with Comcast. As a publicist, he creates, implements and executes publicity events, press conferences, photo opportunities, and media tours for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, Sesame Street, WWE, and more than 700 concerts — orchestrating press conferences for acts including Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, and Metallica.
He serves as an advisor to numerous non-profit organizations, including the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Police Athletic League, the Shirley Povich School of Sports Journalism, and Philabundance. He handled all communications for the late Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider prior to his passing in 2016, and led all communications on the closing of the Spectrum, the late home of the Flyers and 76ers.
